For those of you who noticed, the video streaming service NETFLIX quietly unveiled their new logo on recent trailers for their own original series 'Orange is the New Black'...
The new design takes the drop shadow and branded red background away and trades it for a white background with an all black flat typeface.
But here's the strange part: Netflix acts as if the new logo doesn't even exist. The company did not respond to e-mails and phone messages from CNN seeking comment on the new look. They've ignored request from other media outlets, too. Nor has Netflix mentioned the new logo on its social media pages, its websites or even its iconic red DVD envelopes, which continue the traditional branding.
