Glow-In-The-Dark Highways Tested in the Netherlands... Bringing your TRON Dreams to Reality (video)

Admit it... after watching TRON, we have all dreamed of driving along a road outlined with glowing bright lights. Well... while sporting a glowing suit and a riding a Light Bike may be out of your reach, the glow-in-the-dark roads are becoming a reality.
-Check out the video below:

Located in the Netherlands on Highway N329, this 500-meter stretch of 'glowing' highway was executed in collaboration between artist Daan Roosegaarde and Dutch civil engineers
Glowing road markings are just scratching the surface of Roosegaarde's ideas for constructing "smart highways". His team hopes to develop giant road markings, such as snowflakes, that appear on the road when the temperature drops to a certain level. Other conceptual alterations include driving lanes that can charge electric vehicles, and dynamic lane markings that shift from dashed to solid lines based on traffic.
