Nike's Next Big Thing: The Nike Free Hyperfeel (pics & video)

After years in the making, Nike recently unveiled their 'Next Big Thing'... Introducing the Nike Free Hyperfeel
Innovative, Simple and Answers the desires of the target market: the athletes.

See more pics and a video intro below:

Nike's designers asked athletes what they wanted in a shoe and Nike responded with the new Nike Free Hyperfeel. The innovative shoe allows more direct sole-on-surface contact for a more 'bare foot' running style. The design even simplifies the form by slimming down the parts to just 7 from a whopping 50 parts of a traditional running shoe...!

Scientists in the Nike Sport Research Lab carefully studied which areas of the foot come into contact with the ground and absorb pressure, and which areas require traction. They used pressure-mapping technology and high-speed film to analyze the foot in motion. The result is Nike Free Hyperfeel, a shoe that mimics the intricate workings of the human foot: Lunarion foam replicates cushioned pads under the foot. The outsole protects like hardened skin on the sole. Dynamic Flywire flexes and contracts, inspired by ligaments.
