Back in 2011 Swedish treasure hunters discovered what appeared to be a sunken/crashed UFO on the bottom of the Baltic Sea. The discovery, picked up by sonar (above image), is at a depth of around 280 feet and is approximately 60 feet in diameter. What is also interesting is a long 328 yard downward 'trail' that leads up to the discovery in which divers in a recent 2012 expedition describe as a runway... check out the video below:
An egg-shaped hole at the top of the disc appears to be some sort of opening. Nearby are strange stone circle formations that look rather like small fireplaces and appear to be covered in soot. According to the divers, the object has rounded sides and rugged edges.
“First we thought this was only stone, but this is something else,” said Peter Lindberg, co-founder Ocean X Team, in the statement. “And since no volcanic activity has ever been reported in the Baltic Sea the find becomes even stranger.”
...don't know about you, but doesn't the shape look familiar...??
