Apple Wins Patent Battle - HTC Android Phones Banned in US

As the patent war continues, Apple was victorious against HTC with results that could stop all sales on HTC Android phones in the US. This action could take effect April 19, 2012 if HTC doesn't fix the issue. The phones in question are the HTC Incredible, Evo4G, T-Mobile G2, Nexus One and additional older Android devices.
The patent that HTC infringed was (#5,946,647) and according to Fortune, it was a big one to infringe.
When an iPhone receives a message that contains a phone number or an address — e-mail, Web or street — those bits of data are automatically highlighted, underlined and turned into clickable links. When an iPhone receives a message that contains a phone number or an address — e-mail, Web or street — those bits of data are automatically highlighted, underlined and turned into clickable links.
Not only is this a 'big' win for Apple, but it is also a huge hit not only for HTC but also for all Android devices. Because of this win, Apple could go against all Android device makers and as a result banning ALL Android devices (smartphones and tablets) in the United States...
