The 'LA House': a.k.a. The Space Invader House.

Located in Londrina, Brazil and designed by Studio Guilherme Torres, the LA House is a perfect example of opening up a tight/traditional condominium into an open-concept modern residence. The interior boasts 4,400 sq ft of a clean contemporary/modern design with concrete floors, pivoting glass doors, high ceilings and a high white wall adorned with the graphics from the 80's video game Space Invaders

Passing through the main gate, visitors walk by the pool and arrive at the double-height atrium, which connects the entire house. The kitchen and dining room are perfectly integrated into the open-plan environment. Even the bathroom has been designed to double as a pool changing room.
