Vertical Amusement Park for New York City...

New York City may have the skyscrapers, Broadway shows, Wall Street and even that really tasty slice of pizza.... but what it doesn't have are the roller coasters and ferris wheels.
New York-based architect Ju-Hyun Kim proposes a concept that takes a traditional theme park and literally stacks all the components into a vertical Amusement Tower with a much smaller footprint and according to Kim, cuts down on emissions...
Unlike most amusement parks, which require a long drive and a massive parking lot, a vertical urban version could cut down greatly on emissions. Since it’s in the heart of the city on a small footprint, this park benefits from the density of the city and could be easily reached by public transit.
