The Parametric Bookshelves.

Designed by Architect Caterina Tiazzoldi, with the design team of Lorenza Croce and Dora Keller, the Parametric Bookshelves uses the advanced digital techniques, developed with the experience of the Advanced Research Lab [NSU] at the school of Architecture at Columbia University, to achieve a formal exploration of new configurations of a bookshelf.

Each customer introduces data (length, height, preferred colors) and the parametric system responds by automatically changing some of the attributes (depth, thickness, colour saturation). In this way each customer is assured of a unique configuration. Parametric Furniture, particularly Parametric Bookshelves, helps develop and produce an infinite number of unique pieces, tailored to the customer's requirements, using a single model. The vision is not only to customize a piece. Parametric Bookshelves transform the production process.
With this remarkable and customizable production process, the customer is guaranteed an unlimited  number of style variations to ensure a unique design to fit their individual needs...!
