This Shoe was Banned by the NBA...

What?... Seriously...?
Turns out the NBA has banned this shoe for the 2010-2011 season for creating an "unfair competitive advantage." The Concept I by Athletic Propulsion Labs [APL] will set you back $300... Supposedly when worn they are able to boost your vertical leap.
The patent-pending Load ‘N Launch™ technology is implanted in a cavity in the forefoot of the basketball shoe and is designed to provide an instant improvement in vertical leap.* The device works in conjunction with the high-performance materials of the outsole, midsole, insole and sock liner to create a performance experience unlike any other basketball shoe.
Even though they are banned from professional basketball, it doesn't mean they are not allowed on your neighborhood court... anybody up for a game of H.O.R.S.E....?
