Designed by Bates Masi Architects, this modern design brings together the nature outside with the interior living space with floor to ceiling glass walls/doors that open up. These glass doors also serve a second purpose of transforming the space to accommodate guests and different occasions by opening and closing areas and smartly directing guests around.
Not only is the house beautiful it is also environmentally friendly:
The house is environmentally friendly in its overall construction and planning with such specifics as geo-thermal heating and venting system, solar panels, organic finishes and materials. The house is assembled, rather that built, with prefabricated foundation, panel siding and cabinetry. The idea of “less construction, better environment” roots in the construction method and the house planning preserving the site as close to its original state as possible for the best “camping” experience.
