iPhone coming to Verizon.

This has been a rumor for some time now and now that the end of the year is coming, everyone is asking if it is true.
The New York Times confirmed [independently] that the iPhone will be coming to Verizon in early 2011...
The Times says that what likely drove Apple to finally end their AT&T exclusivity is the looming threat Android poses to the iPhone's market lead, since Android phones now collectively outsell the iPhone—largely because they're on multiple carriers. as of now it is still a rumor and not yet confirmed by the Cupertino company or Verizon, but all in all the logic points to yes. What does this mean for AT&T, well in all honesty a lot of customers aren't pleased with their service or coverage in areas and with the iPhone being their 'golden egg', I'm curious how they will do if the iPhone is also available on a second carrier... whatdoyouthink?
