Apple's 'Back to the Mac' Event... in a nutshell.

So the Apple 'Back to the Mac' event has come and gone and I think we can all sleep better tonight... so what's the verdict, what's new?
Well, the Cupertino company introduced the new iLife '11 and demoed a few of its many features such as iPhoto. They also unveiled the new OSX Lion. Which has many great features such as navigating through your applications and bringing the iOS to the desktop with Mission Control and bringing in the user experience of the iPad to the desktop. Mr. Steve Jobs also did a quick demo of Facetime on the Mac, opening up another way of communicating with the iPhone4 and the new iPod Touch... and of course it wouldn't be a proper Keynote without Steve Jobs saying, "There's One More Thing" and this 'thing' is the new Macbook Air. What they did with the new design is merge a laptop with the iPad... Steve Jobs put it best describing it as what would happen if a laptop and iPad 'hooked up.' It has the more about this event at the link below.
