Japan's Ice Aquarium.

This is no ordinary fish aquarium...
Unlike other aquariums that have fish and other aquatic life swimming about, the Ice Aquarium [opened in 2002] in Japan's Uminoichi seafood market, showcases fish that were 'flash frozen' and displayed within blocks of ice... The air temp within the museum is a chilly -5 degrees F...so make sure you pack a warm jacket and socks if you plan on a visit....
Some 80 species, including saury, octopuses, crabs and skipjack, are preserved in lifelike poses. The fish and other creatures of the deep seem to be swimming in ice.
