Bendable Bike.

With this bike you won't need to carry along a bike lock, because the bike frame is able to bend itself in half to lock itself in place.
Designed by 21 year-old designer Kevin Scott, this bike is fully functional and 'could go into production.' The rigid frame becomes bendable when a lever is pushed, then the mid-section of the bike can be bent around things such as a lamp post.
Mr Scott's creation is currently on show at the New Designers show at the Business Design Centre in Islington, north London. He is hoping that his unusual cycle will catch the eye of a bike loving backer who will enable him to develop it further. A total of 23,748 bikes were reported stolen in London in 2009-10 — up 27.8 per cent on the previous financial year — but police believe that the true figure could be double that.
I for one think this is an ingenious idea and creative way of not carrying around a bulky bike lock where ever you go....
