This is not a Photoshopped image.
In fact it is a sinkhole that opened up in a cities intersection in Guatemala on May 30th....and it is VERY real.

Sinkholes naturally happen when underground moving water erodes and removes soil causing a depression on the surface above. Usually this is a slow process and the depression that is created is small in scale. The 'bottomless pit' sinkhole in Guatemala, on the other hand, happened suddenly and surprisingly (according to reports) only one person died.

Wow....wow.... it is crazy to think something unthinkable like this could happen where the ground literally opens up and swallows you alive. Gizmodo put it best describing as "The Gates of Hell Just Opened In Guatemala".
