Glacier Bleeds Primordial Ooze!

Whether you believe in Global Warming or not, one thing for sure is that the Earth is bleeding... Actually, a large piece of Taylor Glacier broke off and exposed a fissure in which trapped primordial ooze poured out. This is a pretty amazing discovery considering mostly everything from 2 million years ago is dried up as a fossil.
Roughly 2 million years ago, the Taylor Glacier sealed beneath it a small body of water which contained an ancient community of microbes. Trapped below a thick layer of ice, they have remained there ever since, isolated inside a natural time capsule. Evolving independently of the rest of the living world, these microbes exist without heat, light, or oxygen, and are essentially the definition of "primordial ooze." The trapped lake has very high salinity and is rich in iron, which gives the waterfall its red color. A fissure in the glacier allows the subglacial lake to flow out, forming the falls without contaminating the ecosystem within.
One thing is sure, ancient bacteria and who knows what else that has been sealed for millions of years has been released into the modern world. I am now waiting for some new crazy disease that turn us all into zombies or perhaps scientists can find some workable DNA in there to clone....Jurassic Park anyone? ...either way we are all doomed.

What are you thoughts on this...?

If we are not outraged at our worlds leaders, we are not paying attention to our world. No more nice guy! Greed and corporate terrorism I blame.

I find it amazing that this wasn't in the news/media.....but the news of the show 'Jersey Shore' and Hollywood Gossip makes the headlines!

Diseases wouldn't evolve where hosts do not exist.
