China has a problem, it is a huge landfill outside of Beijing that is stinking up the city. The solution to this unpleasant matter is simple... have 100 Deodorant Cannons fire a pleasant smell to cover up the trashy funk smell.
Each gun can spray gallons of fragrance per minute over distances of 164 feet (50 m), and are made by Chinese firms based on German and Italian technology. Officials also expect to add more plastic layers to cover the site and try to keep the smell down, but all these represent just temporary fixes for a city of 17-million people producing more trash than it can handle.....Have our problem solving skills regressed as a human race? Why don't we fix the problem at its source rather than covering up the 'smell' with these deodorant cannons?? I'm curious to see the next solution in 1 year, 5 years and 10 years from now. What are your thoughts on this?
